Early diagnosis of any disease is the first step towards recovery, but in the case of cancer, it is the first step towards saving a human life. At the Top Ihilov Medical Center, early diagnosis of oncological diseases is the norm, as the minimum goal set by the clinic's highly qualified doctors is not only to defeat cancer itself but to return the patient to a full life.
A New Chance for Recovery - Harmless Chemotherapy!
Effective Cancer Treatment Developed in Israel
It is not enough to defeat cancer, in this case – oral cancer. It is also necessary to preserve the patient's ability to speak, communicate normally with others, maintain the aesthetics of their appearance, and thus allow the person to lead a normal personal and social life, which is facilitated by high-precision early diagnosis that minimizes the damage caused by the disease.
The same goals and objectives are set by the experienced ENT surgeons at the Top Ihilov clinic, who brilliantly apply the most modern minimally invasive and organ-preserving methods for removing malignant tumours, as well as plastic surgeons who restore the patient's appearance after surgery.

Diagnosis of Oral Cancer
First Day
On the day of arrival, the patient is examined by an experienced oncologist. The doctor studies the medical history, conducts a primary examination, issues referrals for diagnostic procedures, or, if the patient has brought results of tests, reviews them. Meanwhile, clinic staff prepare all necessary documentation for treatment.
Second Day
One of the first symptoms of oral cancer is the appearance of a small, pale, painless sore that does not heal for more than two weeks. A doctor should also be consulted if there are problems with swallowing, mobility, and sensitivity of the tongue. At the Top Ihilov Medical Center, patients suspected of having oral cancer are assigned the following diagnostic procedures:
- Oncogene analysis
- Computed Tomography
- Ultrasound examination
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging to rule out metastasis to other tissues and organs
- A minimally invasive biopsy procedure (brush biopsy) is mandatory, which will be decisive in making the diagnosis.
Patients are provided with comfortable single or double rooms, and after surgery, they undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of the best Israeli psychologists and physiotherapists.
Third Day
On the third day, a specially assembled expert group of specialists takes care of the patient. The doctors create a detailed treatment plan and then conduct thorough monitoring of the treatment process and subsequent rehabilitation.
- Biopsy
- Computed Tomography
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
