Amnon Mosek is the deputy head of the neurology department at the Ichilov Medical Center. Specializing as a neurologist, Mosek dedicates much of his time to research in the treatment of migraine attacks. Together with colleagues from Europe and America, he develops and tests modern medications to assist those suffering from migraines. Dr. Mosek graduated from the medical faculty at Tel Aviv University and the University of Rome, received his specialization in neurology at the Mayo Clinic in the United States, and at the Ichilov Medical Center. He interned in Colombo, applying classical treatment methods alongside Chinese medicine. He is a participant in a program developed as a rehabilitation initiative for drug-dependent patients using acupuncture. Since 2002, he has been the deputy head of the neurology department at the Ichilov Medical Center. He heads a department specializing in facial and headache therapy and serves as the chief physician of the chronic pain department. Dr. Amnon Mosek is an active participant in the community of neurologists. He participates in symposia and conferences on neurology issues, including as a speaker. He has numerous publications in specialized journals regarding the treatment of epilepsy and encephalitis. He is a member of several professional communities: the Israel Society of Facial and Head Therapy (president), the International Headache Society, and the American Headache Association.
