Ofer Spielberg is the head of the Hematology Institute at the Rabin Medical Center. He leads a research group focused on the prevention of blood diseases. The doctor specializes in pediatric and adult oncological hematology, as well as the prevention of various types of hemoblastoses (leukemia, myeloleukemia). He is involved in bone marrow transplantation issues.
Dr. Spielberg began his medical career at the medical faculty of Ben Gurion University. He then completed a residency at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States in the field of Public Health, where he was awarded a master's degree. Upon returning to Israel, the future professor underwent training at Tel Aviv University in internal medicine.
