A physician with over twenty years of experience in neurosurgery. He treats tumors in the head, neck, and base of the skull. Performs surgical operations on the pituitary gland and spinal cord. Specializes in treating patients with epilepsy, using resection or implants. He has extensive experience in treating patients with Parkinsonism, VSD, and motor function disorders. Performs craniotomy with the creation of a cortical mapping when tumors are detected near functional centers. He received his medical education at Tel Aviv University. He completed his internship in the neurosurgery department at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center. From 1991 to 1994, he worked as a senior staff member at the neurosurgery center at the Health Institute in the United States. After that, until 1999, he worked as a senior neurosurgeon at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center. He was awarded the title of professor at the medical faculty of Tel Aviv University. He is the author of numerous monographs in the field of gene therapy for cancer diseases. He is a member of the editorial board of many authoritative neurosurgical publications.
