COVID-19 Situation in Israel: Information Provided by the Ministry of Health

In Israel, the number of people who have defeated the virus that caused the global epidemic is rapidly increasing, while the incidence has been reduced to isolated cases.
As of mid-May, the daily number of registered infections in Israel does not exceed 19 cases. Testing among the population continues, with about 7,000 tests for the COVID-19 coronavirus conducted daily. The total number of recorded cases is just over 16,500. These data have been obtained from the Ministry of Health of Israel.
Active cases of the disease are observed in 3,939 patients, of whom only 188 are hospitalized. The remaining patients are at home (in isolation) or in designated places for this category of the population.
Of the aforementioned number of infected, 62 people are in serious condition, 43 patients are in moderate condition, and another 52 patients are connected to the ventilator system. These figures have remained stable for several days.
The total number of recovered patients is 12,267, with 135 people fully recovering in the last 24 hours.
No deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours, and the total number of victims in the country stands at 265.
