Nasopharyngeal Cancer

If primary cancer is present, radiation therapy is prescribed; in cases of resistant areas to radiation and metastasis to cervical lymph nodes, surgical intervention is indicated, followed by radiation therapy.
Oropharyngeal Cancer

One variant of squamous cell carcinoma is verrucous carcinoma. This pathology affects the vocal cords. In the early stages of the disease, treatment involves radiation therapy; in cases of significant involvement, surgical treatment with excision of the focus is performed, followed by preventive radiation therapy.
