Adrenal cortex cancer is a tumour that occupies a very insignificant place in the overall structure of oncological diseases. However, this does not mean that medically advanced countries do not address the problem of effective therapy for this pathology.

Treatment of adrenal cortex cancer depends on the stage of disease progression and the presence of distant metastases.

• Surgical treatment. Adrenalectomy (removal of the adrenal gland) is prescribed to operable patients in 75% of cases.
