Arnon Karni is known as a physician practicing in neuroimmunology and neuropathology. A recognized specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis. He heads the neuroimmunology center at the neurology department of Ichilov Medical Center. After graduating from the medical faculty of the university in Tel Aviv, he completed an internship in the treatment of multiple sclerosis in the United States. Simultaneously with the internship, he participated in research work on the treatment of multiple sclerosis. Karni is a member of medical societies such as the Israeli Association of Neuropathologists, the European Multiple Sclerosis Expert Group, and the Israeli Neuroimmunology Society. The doctor specializes in the treatment of sleep disorders, intracranial pressure, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy. In his practice, he uses the method of plasmapheresis, which allows for the removal of various toxins, antigens, and more from the blood. Karni does not limit himself to medical practice, dedicating much time to research activities regarding the interaction of the nervous and immune systems of the body. His scientific works are periodically published in foreign and Israeli publications. The doctor has prepared and conducted more than 40 presentations at conferences and symposiums.
