Widely known as a cardiologist who has achieved significant results in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders. Doctor heads the arrhythmia treatment department at Assuta Medical Center, and is also the head of the atrial fibrillation and pacemaker department at the cardiology center of the H. Lurie graduated from the medical university in Saint Petersburg. After moving to Israel, he specialized in internal medicine at Moshe Soroka Medical Center, and in cardiology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. He advanced his qualifications in cardiac electrophysiology at the most renowned cardiology center in the world – the Mayo Clinic (United States). Since 2000, he has been working in the department of cardiac arrhythmias and pacemaker implantation at the H. Shiba Medical Center.
Lurie is one of the best consultants in the treatment of arrhythmias of various etiologies, the selection and implantation of cardiac stimulators, defibrillators, surgical interventions for arrhythmias, and the use of radiofrequency ablation and radio wave cardiotherapy. In his practice, he uses treatment for atrial fibrillation through pulmonary vein isolation, endovascular occlusion of the left atrial appendage using implants to prevent thrombosis, diagnostics using TILT tests, and more.
