Felix Bukshtein is a representative of a relatively new field in medicine – neuro-oncology. He heads the neuro-oncology department at Ichilov Medical Center. Bukshtein is one of the most authoritative Israeli specialists in this area. Neuro-oncology studies and treats brain and spinal cord tumors, peripheral nerve tumors, epileptic manifestations, and other pathological conditions. Bukshtein is a graduate of Moscow State University, where he subsequently completed an internship in neuropathological diseases and underwent residency training. After moving to Israel, the doctor completed his residency in the specialty of neuropathology at the medical faculty of Tel Aviv University. Dr. Bukshtein trained at Ichilov Clinic as a neuropathologist and at Hadassah Ein Kerem Clinic as a neuro-oncologist. Dr. Bukshtein is considered one of the best diagnostic physicians capable of differentiating the most complex neuro-oncological diseases. Currently, he heads the neuro-oncology department at Ichilov Medical Center and is also involved in teaching at Tel Aviv University.
