Professor David Sarid is a leading clinical oncologist at the Institute of Oncology, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov).
Areas of expertise:
- chemotherapy and targeted therapy for solid tumours;
- immunotherapy with checkpoint inhibitors;
- lung cancer (NSCLC/SCLC), including EGFR / ALK / ROS1 / PD-L1 molecular profiling;
- GI oncology (colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer);
- urological oncology (prostate, renal, bladder cancer).
Prof. Sarid manages patients from diagnosis and multidisciplinary board review through to selection and adjustment of systemic therapy. He pays particular attention to protocol selection based on the tumour's molecular profile and patient enrolment in clinical trials of novel agents.
Author and co-author of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and a regular speaker at international oncology conferences. He works closely with surgical oncologists, radiotherapists and pathologists at Sourasky as part of the Tumor Board.
