Surgeries using Da Vinci Xi are performed through 3-4 incisions, each no larger than 8 mm in diameter. An endoscope equipped with powerful lighting and a microscopic camera is inserted through one of the incisions, transmitting an enlarged image to a high-resolution monitor, allowing for the observation of the smallest details. The other incisions accommodate manipulators equipped with the most modern microsurgical instruments.
