Craniotomy under local anesthesia The surgery involving craniotomy aims for the most complete and precise removal of the brain tumor without damaging functionally important areas.

If the tumor is located near speech centers and motor activity zones, the risk of surgical complications is very high. As a result of the surgery, severe speech disorders or paralysis of the limbs may occur.
