This is the main difference in gastroenterological treatment at Top Ichilov: here, an accurate diagnosis is made within a few days, and the most effective treatment strategy is developed, allowing for quick relief from all unpleasant sensations.

Accurate Diagnosis of Pancreatitis in 3 Days
Pancreatitis often arises due to improper nutrition, excessive consumption of spicy, fatty, or fried foods, frequent alcohol consumption, stress, as well as due to diseases of the digestive tract (cholecystitis, ulcer diseases, bowel diseases, liver diseases, stone formation in the duct of the gland, etc.)
First Day - Consultation with a Gastroenterologist
The patient arriving at the clinic is immediately referred for a preliminary examination by a leading Israeli gastroenterologist. The doctor studies the medical history, collects the anamnesis, and develops a preliminary diagnostic program.
Second Day - Diagnosis
At Top Ichilov, the following procedures are performed:
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - one of the most informative diagnostic procedures when pancreatitis is suspected. This is an endoscopic examination performed under sedative anesthesia and lasts only 30 minutes. During the procedure, a flexible endoscope is inserted into the patient's mouth and advanced to the stomach and duodenum. The patient experiences no discomfort due to anesthesia and a special substance sprayed in the mouth. Often, the procedure is performed in conjunction with X-rays, in which case a contrast agent is administered to the patient.
- EUS - this is another modern endoscopic procedure for gastrointestinal diseases, performed using ultrasound, it also lasts 30 minutes and is completely painless.
- Specialized blood tests
Often, doctors at Top Ichilov have to perform additional tests for patients from abroad, despite the fact that they bring or send diagnostic results obtained in their home country to the clinic in advance. The reason is that, unfortunately, the diagnosis of gastrointestinal diseases in the former CIS countries is not precise. In many cases, patients arrive for treatment in Israel after undergoing a course of incorrect treatment based on inaccurate diagnoses.
Third Day - Treatment Plan
The results of the tests are submitted to an expert group consisting of world-class gastroenterologists. The group is assembled individually for each patient, and its task is to develop a comprehensive treatment program and monitor its implementation.
