Hematology-oncology, targeted therapy, CAR-T, and bone marrow transplantation
This section is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of leukemia at the state medical center Ichilov (Sourasky) in Tel Aviv — the largest hospital in Israel and one of the leading hematology-oncology centers in the Middle East. The clinic's arsenal includes modern polychemotherapy, targeted therapies (tyrosine kinase inhibitors for CML, BCL-2 and FLT3 inhibitors for AML, BTK inhibitors for CLL), monoclonal antibodies and bispecific antibodies (blinatumomab, inotuzumab), immunotherapy, as well as CAR-T cell therapy and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation from related, unrelated, or haploidentical donors. The hematopoietic stem cell transplantation department at Ichilov is among the largest in the country and works closely with the international donor registry.
Treatment is managed by an interdisciplinary team: hematologist-oncologists, transplantologists, infection specialists, intensivists, pediatric oncologists, and psycho-oncologists.
